Cultural Safety
This course aims to equip learners with the knowledge and tools necessary to understand, appreciate, and implement cultural safety in their personal and professional lives. Through a combination of theoretical concepts and practical strategies, participants will contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable society.
This course forms part of our Strategy learning pathway, and is designed for Deep Dive level learners.

By the end of the course you should be able to…
- Understand the key concepts and principles of cultural safety
- Develop and apply strategies for effective communication and active listening
- And understand the role empathy and cultural awareness play in creating culturally safe environments.
