An annual public holiday in Palau, this day aims to encourage Palau’s youth to become actively engaged in government and society in constructive ways and celebrate the important role and value of Palau’s young people.

The holiday raises awareness about the importance of early integration of young people in public service. On this occasion, government offices and educational institutions are closed as it is a non-working day and numerous events like marches, parades, youth congresses and conferences are organized.
