World Statistics Day
Adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2010, this day acknowledges the production of reliable and timely statistics which informs policy decisions and monitors the implementation of the Millenium Development Goals. World Statistic Day highlights the importance of trust, authoritative data, innovation, and the public good in national statistical systems. This Day is a global collaborative endeavour, organised under the guidance of the United Nations Statistical Commission <https://unstats.un.org/unsd/statcom/> .
