World Hospice and Palliative Care Day

World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is an annual unified day of action to celebrate and support hospice and palliative care around the world. The day was created to raise awareness for the stories and experiences of those living in palliative care, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Policy makers are called upon to ensure an essential package of palliative care services are provided that are tailored to individual needs.
