World Cotton Day invites the global community to celebrate the world’s most important natural fibre. The day is recognised by the UN, and raises awareness for the need of market access for cotton and cotton-related products in our least developed countries. World Cotton Day fosters sustainable trade policies and enables developing countries to benefit more from every step of the cotton value chain.
