Queen’s Birthday (UK)
Celebrates the birthday of the Queen of England, although her actual birthday is on 21/04. This day, which always falls on the second Saturday in June, is celebrated in the UK instead due to the warmer weather and ability to hold public festivities. It is not a public holiday in the UK. Australia is the only nation that recognises the Queen’s birthday as a public holiday (on 13 June), in all states except Western Australia and Queensland. Various other states and nations recognise other dates as the Queen’s Birthday.
