National Hispanic Heritage month starts on the 15th of September and runs until the 15th of October. It is an initiative of the US Library of Congress, the National Archives and the National Endowment of Humanities. It seeks to celebrate and pay tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have had a positive impact in the past and present US society. Events held, include arts exhibits, films, and more, from the National Archives.
