Laylat al-Bara’at / Hujjat-Allah al-Mahdī’s Birthday
Laylat al-Bara’at is a religious tradition of Islam, one of the worlds largest religions with over 1 billion members. For Muslims, this day commemorates when God descended from heaven to forgive people of their sins. The night before this holiday is sacred, and devotees pray for special blessings and the Surah Yasin is read three times.
