Kazakhstan Republic Day  is a public holiday in Kazakhstan celebrated annually on October 25th. It commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of the State Sovereignty of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic in 1990. The declaration proclaimed the sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR and declared the political and legal foundations of Kazakhstan as an independent state. The holiday was revived in 2022, and large-scale celebrations are held throughout the country until October 28th. On Republic Day, concerts, research conferences, creative and sports competitions, patriotic, volunteer, and charity events are held in the regions of Kazakhstan, showcasing the country’s rich culture and history.
