International Star Wars Day, or “May the Forth Be With You”, is an informal commemorative day observed annually on May 4 to celebrate George Lucas’ Star Wars.

It is a global event, when fans dress up like Star Wars characters and have a Star Wars-themed party. On the day, marathon viewings of the saga are organized, and fans also participate in Star Wars trivia contests.
