International Repetitive Strain Injury Awareness Day

The purpose of this annual day is to raise awareness and educate the global public on repetitive strain injury (RSI) prevention and treatment. The majority of these injuries have work-related causes, and for healthcare workers, musculoskeletal pain and disorders are by far the most common type of injury. The day was founded by Canadian injured worker activist, Catherine Fenech, in 1999.
