International Flamenco Day

International Flamenco Day commemorates UNESCO’s declaration of flamenco, a Spanish dance style as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The dance is inspired by the Andalusian gypsy culture and is focused on evoking and communicating passion, love, sadness, despair and joy. The dance is an integral part of Spain’s identity and has reached different corners all over the globe.
