International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism
Acts of terrorism kill and injure thousands of people every year. The victims struggle with the aftermath, being forgotten and not having a voice. In 2017, the United Nations declared this day to be the ‘International Day of Remembrance and tribute to the victims of terrorism’. The day is also a call to provide the support that the victims need and to not let them be forgotten.
