Commemorates the eternal installation of the Sikh holy scripture referred to as Guru Granth Sahib Hi. The holy scripture represents the Sikh’s living Guru. Its central message emphasises the integration of the spiritual and temporal life. Its first rendition was compiled by the fifth guru, Guru Arjan (1564–1606) and the final rendition was completed on 29 August 1604.
