Gospel Day (Cook Islands)

Gospel Day is a public holiday celebrated annually on October 26th in the Cook Islands. This holiday marks the arrival of Christianity to the islands in the 1820s by John Williams of the London Missionary Society. The Cook Islands Christian Church (CICC) and other churches organize events to celebrate this day.
