Also called ‘World Music Day’, this is a one-day celebration of music in its every form and genre created by the French ministry in 1982 and now celebrated in more than 1000 cities worldwide and more than 130 countries, including France, India, Germany, Italy, Greece, Russia, Australia, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, the US, the UK and Japan. The goal of the day is to celebrate music by providing it for free to the public for a day.
