Early Childhood Educators’ Day is an event held every year on the first Wednesday in September. It is a chance to recognise and celebrate the work of Australia’s educators in long daycare, family daycare and kindergarten/preschool services and their contribution to the wellbeing and healthy development of young children. The day is a chance for the state and federal governments, service operators, families and their children to say thank you to the early childhood educators.
