Culture Day (Japan)

Culture Day dates from 1948, honouring traditional Japanese culture by promoting their love of freedom and peace. This national holiday, known as ‘Bunka no Hi’, promotes and celebrates the customs, arts, and academia of Japan. During this day, thousands of attendees participate in ceremonies, parades and other free arts and cultural events across the country both in-person and online.
