Established in 1993, this weekend unites community groups, schools, businesses, and local governments to carry out activities that address local environmental issues – planting trees, and cleaning community areas. Over the years, it is estimated that over 133 countries and 35,000,000 people have been involved in this large-scale environmental effort.
