CARICOM Day

A national public holiday in Guyana, CARICOM Day is celebrated on the first Monday of July. It commemorates the 1973 signing of the ‘Treaty of Chaguaramas’ that established the Caribbean Community and Common Market. CARICOM comprises twenty countries, fifteen member states and five associate member states.
