The Awa Dance Festival is a part of the Obon Festival, held in Tokushima Prefecture on Shikoku, Japan. It is a three-day festival, the largest in Japan, with over 1.3 million visitors each year. Groups of Ren (dancers and musicians) dancing through the streets, accompanied by traditional instruments and wearing traditional Obon dance costumes.
