Autistic Pride Day
Autistic Pride Day, initiated in 2005 by the global autism rights platform ‘Aspies For Freedom’, is a global celebration led by the autistic community. It serves to recognize and celebrate autistic individuals as integral members of the diverse spectrum of human neurodiversity. This day highlights the importance of embracing and appreciating the unique perspectives and contributions of autistic individuals, promoting acceptance, understanding, and inclusion within society.
