Ashadhi Ekadashi
A Hindu holy day that falls on the eleventh day in the Shukla Paksha (waxing) phase of the moon in the Ashadha month of the Indian Lunar Calendar. Devotees gather in large numbers to bathe in the Godarari river, in honour of Sri Rama, an avatar of Lord Vishna. It is a day of fasting and singing devotional songs through the night.
