ANZAC Day (Australia, Aotearoa/New Zealand)

ANZAC day is a national holiday and is a day of remembrance in Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand, broadly commemorating all Australian and Aotearoan/New Zealander troops who served and died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. The day commemorates the anniversary of the 1915 landing of Allied troops at Gallipoli, Turkey.
