All Souls’ Day
A day of prayer and remembrance for the souls of the deceased. All Souls’ Day, also known as the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed and the Day of the Dead, is a day of prayer and remembrance for friends, partners and relatives who have passed away. This day is observed by Christians and most commonly, Roman Catholics. On this day, prayer, intercessions, offerings and visits to cemeteries take place to commemorate the souls in purgatory and gain them indulgences.
