Ethnic Religions

Ethnic religions (AKA folk religions or nature religions) are in contrast to ‘universalising religions’, in that they do not attempt to appeal to all people but to only one group, either within one ethnicity or in one place. Judaism and Hinduism are the two major examples of ethnic religions. The European Congress of Ethnic Religions is a European overseeing body that aims to strengthen the pre-Christian religious traditions of Europe.
