In the context of promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace, are initiatives such as ethnic lunch days and similar social events truly effective in raising awareness and fostering a more inclusive environment? While these events aim to celebrate cultural diversity and educate employees about different backgrounds, there is a concern that they might be perceived as superficial or tokenistic gestures rather than meaningful efforts to address deeper issues of inclusion and equity.
